Improvements to your general health from Fasting are profound. Habits such as smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, drug and substance abuse, and poor eating habits, naturally drop away, disappear, and are often never heard of again. In addition to detoxification, there is also a considerable weight loss. Women usually lose half a kilo per day, and men a kilo per day.
Because we consider ourselves to be a Personal Development and Dharma Center , our emphasis is on the Mind-Emotion-Spirit aspect of wellbeing. Consequently in addition to the physical benifits, our guests also experience profound emotional and mental benefits.

Our typical day begins with the Atsumi Morning Ritual, which includes, Yoga, Ki Kung, and Meditation in our Yoga Sala by the lotus pond. The Morning Ritual is followed by a group discussion, (over a cup of herbal tea), before your daily Colon Hydro Therapy Session.

A wide variety of supplementary services are available throughout the day, including; Massage, Therapies, and Workshops. You choose to be as private or as social as you desire. You are welcome to be at Atsumi all day, or if you prefer, go to the beach and swim and relax for the rest of the day.

The Atsumi Healing Center is situated in a very secluded spot in the south of Phuket Island . Surrounded by tall rubber trees, it is far away from roads, traffic noise, and tourist activities. This environment offers peace and quiet for contemplation, meditation, and connecting with nature. We offer two categories of accommodation.

Atsumi Villas

Comfortable and homey two room, fully furnished, daily serviced Villas. With Hot Water, Air Conditioning, King Size Bed, Cable TV/DVD, Stereo System, and free internet connection

Baan Laang: A block of five new Studio Apartments. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished with locally handcrafted Bamboo Furnishings. They feature a Queen size Thai style bed, ceiling fan, and Cable TV. It takes approximately 4 minutes to walk to the Center from these rooms.

As well as the resident therapists (Osteopathic (Chiropractic) Acupuncture, Shiatsu, N.L.P. etc) at Atsumi, we also host visiting healers and teachers who come to Atsumi to share their expertise and wisdom.

SEEING AND ENJOYING PHUKET

As you can be 'all done' with you fasting commitments by 9.30 a.m. each day, you have the rest of the day to lie on the beach and relax or take a day trip, white water rafting, sea kayaking, elephant riding, go in a submarine, diving, snorkeling, rock climbing and many other things. We will arrange your outings including the Phuket Fantasy Live Show which we think is the greatest show on Earth.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE

We maintain a high standard of Hygiene and cleanliness. We are recommended by the Bangkok Phuket International Hospital to their clients for Detoxing, Yoga, Meditation or simply resting and recuperating after an operation. We also recommend our customers to this Hospital for General Medical Health Check-Up’s.

DENTISTRY

We have our own dentist in Phuket Town who can do teeth whitening or that dental work that you have been putting off, or remove your Mercury/Amalgam fillings. (Heavy Metal Poisoning) at a very reasonable rate.

MEDICAL CHECKUPS

We can arrange a doctor’s visit before and after your Detox to assess the changes in blood and cholesterol levels etc. Plus full Medical Checkups with modern up to date equipment, which like the Dentistry, will be at a fraction of the cost you would pay in the West.

LEARNING THAIATSU MASSAGE

ThaiAtsu Massage is a combination of the local Thai Massage techniques and the Traditional Shiatsu Theory (TCM) and practices now so popular in the West. Our trainers are of an international standard with over 20 years of training experience behind them. You can learn with us in as little time as 8 hrs. Or stay with us for an extended period of time to reach a professional standard.
