Its totally unique and exclusive in a quiet coconut grove 1,4 km from Naiharn white sand beach in Rawai, Phuket. Only 6 cottages with kitchen, all modern amenities and large shaded terraces with exotic pool views.

The large family friendly pool has a children section, fountain, waterfall with jacuzzi cave and pool bar. 6 pavilions provide privacy for breakfast and garden parties - has MP3 stereo, hot water jacuzzi, barbecue and fans. Coco Palace has a state of the art cinema with 200 DVD and blue ray movies, computer and 10MB free WIFY - in all rooms. This pearl is ideal for honey moons and small groups up to 25 people.

Coco Palace is a boutique resort in every sense of the word. Located in Rawai, Nai Harn which is the southern part of Phuket island the 3 main guest buildings are Thai architecture built largely of wood and with plenty of teak furniture. There are two guest units per building and each unit has at least 1 terrace overlooking the pool and the garden. The pool meanders through a garden rich in a variety of tropical plants, flowers and different types of palm tree.

The location is "off the beaten track" but still very close to some of the best of what Phuket Island has on offer. Nai Harn Beach is just 1.5km down quiet road. Rawai Beach, with its plethora of mostly Thai seafood restaurants is just 3 km away. Phrom Thep Cape, with incredible views out over the Andaman Sea is a "must see" and is only 3 km away.

The extravagant slim line and triangular designs gives the best combination of light, views, shadow, breeze and coolness. 13 terraces and 5 umbrella pavilions provide Adam and Eve privacy. Beauty is backed up by high tech modern amenities. The center pavilion for example, has a hot water Jacuzzi for 2 - with stunning views and atmosphere, plus stereo with connection for your IPOD, fan and WIFY broadband internet connection.

The large 3 section pool with waterfall, fountain, islands, pool bar, water massage and a Flintstone cave with Jacuzzi, is a Shangri La - specially for the children. One section is shallow for small children, who can play under the fountain.

Somewhat surprisingly, the Nai Harn area is home to only few resorts but it is a popular location for the Phuket expat community, retirement homes/villas and of course many locals. It makes for an incredible concentration and variety of western and Thai restaurants, little pubs, pastry shops, places offering foot massage or Thai traditional massage. THESE are the things that really make a holiday after all! There's quite a lot within walking distance; a bicycle (available from the resort for free) will get you easily to all of the highlights.

Our Bougainvillea King Suite

This lower floor suite has 2 king size double beds and one of the best inland views in Phuket- a full panorama from either of the beds or from either of the 2 terraces and 2 free-hanging sun terraces. The scene framed by the coconut grove is spectacular in a low-season downpour or in the afternoon sun sparkling in the pool fountain and it is underscored by 2 large bonsai bougainvilleas. There is a large kitchen and 2 bathrooms - one with a hot water jacuzzi and sauna/shower unit for 2.

Our Lotus Villa

This lovely bungalow is an independent unit for 2 adults below and 2 children upstairs. Just outside, standing in a pond with a fountain are lotus flowers and life-sized cranes. The bathroom is downstairs where the room is cozy. The terrace, where you will spend most of your time, is quite spacious. The comfortable king-sized sofa bed upstairs can be used by adults and as TV bed also. Upstairs there is a kitchen and the brightest room in the resort - absolutely perfect if you need to brighten up before returning to the dark winter of northern Europe or North America.

Our Rose Villa

This slice of heaven is accessed through a power lifted loft door. It has 2 large Triangular windows framed in Thai roof decor. The room is spacious on the inside and smaller on the terrace from where the view is from 1001 nights - the time anyone wish to stay. The bathroom has a teak wood bathtub. There is a large wheeled tray under the bed - for suitcases and other items (like warm weather/winter cloths). There is room for an extra bed, available. The Rose Villa is our most quiet and secluded unit.

Our Coconut Villa

The most normal room - with access by a 4 step staircase, this is the best unit for seniors with impaired movement. Large terrace with superb views. Wheeled tray under the bed.

Our Bamboo Villa

With views to bamboo and furniture of bamboo, this cottage is large on the inside and 3-4 can sleep. A sofa becomes queen size bed. There is a teak wood bath tub. The afternoon light is competing with the view. To large trees inside gives this unit a garden like feel. Access by staircase behind the big house.

Our Plumeria Villa

With 2 big triangular windows a large maple tree and a life-size very real looking tiger, this is maybe the most beautiful unit. It is the only unit with 2 separate bed (that can be joined). The sea breeze brings the scent from the plumeria and francispana trees below into this unit (feb - april). It has a teak wood bath tub.
