Mai Khao

Mai Khao Beach stretches for about 11 km along the northwest coast of Phuket and is one of the most undeveloped beaches on Phuket island. Enjoy a visit to the Sirinat National Park, and if you enjoy watching airplanes landing and taking off close up you can do so at the beach along the end of the runway at Phuket International Airport near Nai Yang Beach. The course sand of Mai Khao beach is great for taking long walks in isolation. Swimming can be dangerous due to the steep drop off into the Andaman Sea.
