of the PIH, we have paid a lot of attention to the green surroundings and
comfortable interiors. The purpose is to keep our patients in the minimal

to a faster recovery from illness.
Every year, more
than 2 million overseas tourists come to Phuket for holidays. A certain
number of them get sick and some suffer from accidents. In 2000 PIH took
care of nearly 10,000 overseas patients.
PIH has good connections
to the global network of insurance companies, air ambulance services, doctors
and hospitals in many countries. This makes the repatriation of our international
patients always a smooth process, in case such a move is necessary.
