The aims of Phuket Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)
are to manage, control and reduce the stray dog and cat populations here in Phuket and Thailand. We strive to promote awareness and provide education in effective animal management. We also provide animal care, sterilizations, vaccinations and treatment for all animals in need of care
and attention.

Charity Description

PAWS is very well known foundation in the Phuket community that is a fully licensed and registered animal welfare organization well equipped to deal with the stray animal populations. All or our vets are registered and licensed with the Phuket Town Municipal Government and with the Department of Agriculture and Livestock.

In itself, merely sterilizing animals and treating them for disease is not the answer. There is a large responsibility on educating the public in a host of animal management and welfare areas, explaining the reasons for our actions and the implications involved.

As a registered Charity, PAWS relies on generous donations from the public - both individuals and large corporations - who either donate time and money, or specific items to help our cause. Additionally, you can register as a Member of PAWS and your membership fees will go towards helping the animals.
