Shopping can be fun and exciting throughout Phuket and
the surrounding regions. Many times you will be able to
find interesting and unique products produced and available
only locally. Some of these handicrafts include items from teak, leather, ceramics, terra-cotta, silver and fabric.

At other times you will find an extensive colleciton
of products imported from throughout Thailand and even neighboring
countries such as Malaysia and Burma.

When it comes to prices you are often presented with the excitement of negotiating with the vendors. Remember that a "good deal" is when both you and the vendor are happy with the agreed price.

Sales are often "final," with no refunds available. Remembering this it is wise to fully examine what you are buying, expecially electrical products or items with exacting mechanical mechanisms. At times the vendor will allow exchanges, but this should be discussed at the time of purchase.
