| Discover
southern Thailand how it is not offered anywhere else. The route
will take you through the provinces of Krabi and Trang along the
limestone mountain ranges characteristic for this region. Especially,
Trang province offers Mountain and Jungle environments with numerous
waterfalls. Hat Yai is the shopping paradise of southern Thailand
whilst its sister city Songkhla is located on Thailand’s largest
Lake and feature some romantic beaches. Nakhon Si Thammarat
is an important historic city and starting point for trips through
the astounding national Park of Khao Luang with its waterfalls,
mountains and dense jungles. Near Surat Thani we will visit an
exceptional monkey school in which monkeys are trained to climb
up coconut trees to harvest the nuts. |

1 Krabi
- Trang (L) Departure also from Phuket, Khao Lak or Surat Thani
without surcharge possible
Visit
the famous beaches around Krabi (Ao Nang and hat Nopparat Thara).
Elephant trekking through the jungle and watch these animals
take a bath. The lunch will be prepared together with a local
Thai family. Several dishes like Tom Yam Goong (a spicy soup
with shrimps and Thai National Dish) a coconut curry and other
specialties. You can watch or help cooking yourself. The tour
continues with a drive towards Trang province. Stop at a palm
oil plantation and then continue on to a vast jungle area. Walk
through the thick jungle to a thermal spring and a breathtaking
natural pool surrounded by the immense jungle. Check in overnight
at the first class hotel Thumrin Thana in Trang city.

2 Trang
- Songkhla (B/L)
Trang
Province is famous for its untouched nature and its abundant waterfalls.
Boat trip through one of the most beautiful caves in Thailand.
Visit of a rubber plantation. Drive through the mountain ranges
along the Limestone cliffs to a large cave temple. Afterwards
continue east and cross the mountain range separating the Andaman
coast from the Golf of Thailand. Stop at the beautiful Thale Noi
Thailand’s largest Lake in Phattalung and lunch at a restaurant
situated on the banks a river near the lake. Then continue towards
Hat Yai close to the Malay border. Visit the third largest reclining
Buddha statue of the world (35m long and 15m high). Afterwards,
shopping at the cities stores and markets. Drive on to Songkhla,
situated on a peninsula and almost completely encircled by water.
Check-in at the first classes hotel BP Samila Beach. The hotel
is located right on a mile long beach opposite the statue of a
mermaid the landmark of Songkhla. Opportunity to go for a walk
along the beach. |

3 Songkhla
- Nakhon Si Thammarat (B/L)
City
tour of Songkhla a former pirate residence which is nowadays a
fishing community. Samila Beach, mountain view, old city wall,
fishing port and Khao Sang famous for its colorful fishing boats.
Drive over Thailand’s longest bridge and the island Ko Yo (fishery
and lots of sea food restaurants). Stopover at the lonely beach
Haad Kaeo. Drive along a scenic side road through rice fields
and along palm trees and visit a shrimp farm on the way. Bird
sanctuary Khu Khut Waterfowl Park: Largest bird sanctuary Thailand’s
which offers countless bird species a place to spend the winter
on the banks of the lake, observe the sanctuary from its watchtower.
Lunch at a typical Thai Restaurant on the banks of the lake. Drive
along the coast with countless shrimp farms to Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Here you visit the popular shadow puppet Theater Nang Talung with
traditional Thai puppets made from buffalo leather. The puppet
master, Khun Suchard, once performed at the Royal Palace in Bangkok.
Overnight stay at the First-Class Hotel Twin Lotus in Nakhon Si
Thammarat.

4 Nakhon
Si Thammarat - Surat Thani (B/L)
Visit
the most important Temple in southern Thailand - Wat Mahatat:
the large Temple complex includes a 77 meter high Chedi with a
270kg heavy golden top. Continue the drive to Khao Luang national
park to the west. This, almost unknown National park, has thick
jungles and wonderful mountain ranges with rivers and waterfalls.
The stunningly beautiful Prom Lok Waterfall which falls over several
cliffs with large natural pools is an ideal place to swim and
bathe. Afterwards a rafting tour over several rapids in the midst
of the picturesque countryside. Lunch at a simple Thai restaurant
surrounded by the gorgeous scenery. Drive to Sichon and stop at
a mile long untouched beach and at a fishing harbor. After arriving
in Surat Thani check in at the superior class Hotel Southern Star. |

5 Surat
Thani - Krabi (B)
Discover
the local way of life and the colorful market of Surat Thani. The
market offers everything imaginable from fresh fruit, vegetables,
meat and hardware to a large fish section. Afterwards, drive to
a monkey training camp. Here monkeys are taught to harvest coconuts.

1 - 5 Krabi & Trip to the islands
After Arriving at Krabi Airport transfer to Ao Nang Beach and check-in the Somkiet Buri Resort. Enjoy the days at your leisure, explore the city or visit the surrounding beaches. On the second day in Krabi you discover the outlying islands with a typical Thai Longtail boat. According to Travel publications you will visit here some of Thailand’s most beautiful beaches. You can snorkel and swim in the clear water. Lunch will be served on a sand bank surrounded by some of the spectacular scenery. |

5 - 8 Ko Lanta Departure from the resort and transfer to the pier in Krabi town. From here you will take the ferry (app. 2 hours) to Ko Lanta. check-in at the Southern Lanta Resort. The resort is situated directly on the main beach of the island. Enjoy three days at your leisure on this romantic island. |

8 - 10 Phi Phi Islands & day trip
After
departure from Ko Lanta you will enjoy another Ferry trip through
the beautiful Andaman Sea to the famous Phi Phi islands. Check-In
at the Tonsai Village Resort. The resort is situated on the edge
of the stunningly beautiful Ton Sai Bay. Day trip by boat to the
Viking Cave on the neighboring Island of Phi Phi Lee, here you
can see the famous swallow nests high up in the caves. Continue
on to the famous Maya Bay and spend some time at this dream beach
featured in the movie "The Beach“ with Leonardo Di Caprio. Here
you have the opportunity to swim and snorkel. The tour continues
around the cliffs of Phi Phi Lee to the Bamboo Island with its
white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters another great opportunity
to go for a swim or just to relax.
