John Gray started “Tropical Kayaking” in 1983, bringing ancient Hawaii’s natural harmony to modern times. Lava sea caves highlighted Gray’s Hawaii trips, and in two years, the “Molokai’s Forgotten Frontier” documentary won a 1985 Emmy Award.
