The Phuket Flying Club is located at PHUKET AIRPARK in Thailand. If you have ever dreamed of flying in a tropical paradise, then this is the place.
We welcome you to visit one of the most unique real estate developments in Thailand today. Phuket Airpark is a private estate of 125 rai (50 acres) on the Eastern edge of Phuket covered in lush green grass and tropical vegetation. When you take off, you skim across a beach and out across the Andaman Sea. The water is dotted with warm sandy islands in all directions. This is our home.
Our concept is that people who love flying can build their homes here -- on the edge of our airstrip. We only have two rules: Your home must be 10 meters back from the road, and you must have a "Thai hat" on your house. We do this to preserve the very special and delicate character of Thai culture in the architecture of our community and to give every house enough room for a visiting pilot friend to park in front of your home when they come to visit. You can design your home anyway you want, and you can keep your airplane under your home, or you can park it in our club hangar. If you don't have a plane, come and live with us and rent one of our planes from the Phuket Flying Club. If you have an airplane and you want it to earn money for you, then you can lease it to the Phuket Flying Club, and we will operate it for you. If you don't know how to fly, then come and learn with us.
We have a club aircraft for instruction or introduction flights. You are welcome to visit us and join our flying club.
Phuket Flying Club is prepared to offer not only flying but the many different facets of aviation that has captured our imagination: safety seminars, guest visitors and speakers, air shows and fly-ins, ground school courses, tower and airport visits, and buddy-seat flights with other aero clubs in the region.
Phuket and aviation-minded persons need and want the shared knowledge possible from, and freely offered by the Phuket Flying Club.

We have our own mechanic at Phuket Flying Club. Khun "Than" (Kittisak Kongsano) has his Type 2 DCA aircraft maintenance engineering license. He spent 5 years at the Utaphao Navy base working on the Navy Seahawk helicopters (under Nawa Toe Piya). At the same time, he used to work for Mum Term at Klang Airport on his Skyfox and Flightstar aircraft, so he has a wide range of experience. Now Khun Than is working for Thai Aviation Service in Songkhla on their fleet of helicopters for offshore oil rigs. He works in Songkla for 20 days, then is at Phuket Airpark for 10 days. With his DCA license, he is able to perform Annual inspections on Thai registered aircraft. If you need maintenance on your HS aircraft, please make sure you have your logbooks for the aircraft (airframe, engine, prop) and your Service Manual and your Parts Manual.
Our club Zenair CH701 is 6,000 Baht per hour (wet rate with instructor). The minimum flight time is 1 hour. We have Captain Watana and Captain Suchard checked out to give lessons in this plane.
