Naiharn

Naiharn Beach and Rawai Beaches make up two of Phuket island's most southern communities. Although they can sometimes considered somewhat similar they are pretty much different. Some of the most pleasant roads leading to this part of the island are over the hills south of Kata Beach where there are several very worthwhile stops at view points, small beaches, or even Cape Phromthep lighthouse. Reaching this area by more direct routes from the north would be to use the Bypass Road and head south toward Chalong, then continue south to Rawai Beach. Of course from this area there are several choices of roads leading to Naiharn, and each road has its restaurants and resorts, and fun neighborhood bars.
