Patong Beach

Patong Beach is located half way from North to South on Phuket Island directly on the western shore, and is one of the most well-known destinations on Phuket. Patong Beach has nearly 3 km of fine white sand bordering the horseshoe-shaped Patong bay, ringed by tall hills that offer spectacular sunset views. There's usually a nice surf with big waves to play in and plenty of inviting Activities available along the beach like parasailing, swimming, banana boats or just hiring a beach chair & umbrella for working on your tan, relaxing with a book or photographing a tropical sunset. Tourists and visitors come to Patong for the large selection of Thai and international Restaurants; Guesthouses & Hotels in all price ranges; some of the best Shopping to be found in Phuket, Art Galleries and of course the very fun and exciting Entertainment, Bars & Pubs.
